eLearning with VR

You name it and we will build it. From simulations that train police officers to investigate crime scenes to simulations that train counselors on proper communication, we have built it all.

The best part is, studies have shown that students in a virtual reality (VR) environment learn 4x faster, are 3.75x more emotionally connected to the learning content and come out 275% more confident in applying their skills, when compared to classroom learning. As a teacher, this means you can concentrate on teaching and improving each student’s unique learning experience. As an institution, you can decrease spending on labs and other resources while increasing the enrollment of your programs and employee satisfaction because of your unlimited access to virtual resources.

Our 3 step eLearning process

You may be wondering, “how can XpertVR be so skilled at creating VR simulations but also understand every industry they build simulations for? It can’t be possible!?” And you’re right! We understand we’re the VR eXperts and not the eXperts of every other industry. That is why we have a 3 step process we follow for every partner we work with. Well, it’s more like an 11 step process (which we’re happy to share) but for simplicity’s sake here it is in 3 steps.

1. Industry eXpert Meeting:

Before we start anything we sit down with your team and the industry eXperts you have on staff. This allows us to understand the ins and outs of what you want to teach through VR.

2. eXpert Storytelling:

Every real-world scenario has a story. Who committed a crime and why? What is someone going through and why are they seeking counseling? So, why don’t virtual scenarios tell those stories as well? At XpertVR our creative team of developers and artists take what they learned from your industry eXperts and turn your eLearning simulations into eLearning stories.

3. eXpert Feedback:

But we can’t be perfect every time so while designing, building and finalizing your simulations we ensure we schedule at least 3 meetings with your industry eXperts and all other involved parties. This ensures that by the time we deliver your simulation it is exactly as you pictured.

VR eLearning Materials for Policing Students

Conestoga College, an academic institution known for combining theory and simulation-based experiences, to teach students through a person-centered approach to community policing, approached XpertVR to create eLearning materials for their students.

The initiative combined the skills of XpertVR and Conestoga’s VAR Lab to develop a simulation that allowed students to apply deductive and investigative skills to realistic crime scenarios.
