Frontier captures physical environments and equipment as defence-grade digital assets. LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, portable CMM arm scanning, and reverse engineering of components.
They’ve delivered for DND, General Dynamics, the Ecuadorian Navy, and the City of Toronto subway extensions. They’re a Canadian Controlled Goods Program member, ITAR-compliant, with active security clearances. Based in Concord, Ontario.

That’s us. We build standalone VR training simulations for high-stakes environments. Real-time fire, smoke, and hazard physics. Multi-user crew training on wireless headsets with no internet required. A built-in authoring tool so instructors can build their own scenarios without a developer.

Cognitive3D: Spatial Analytics for XR
Cognitive3D is the spatial analytics platform purpose-built for VR and AR. It captures what trainees actually do inside a simulation, not just whether they passed or failed.
3D behaviour tracking for position, gaze, fixation, object interaction, and decisions. Session replay so an instructor can see exactly where a trainee hesitated or diverged from the optimal path. Cross-session, cross-user, cross-device analytics for instructors and commanders.

Decisolve: AI/ML Intelligence Layer
Decisolve sits above the platforms as the AI orchestration layer. It turns training content, scenario data, and analytics into structured, actionable outcomes.
AI-assisted lesson planning. Scenario variation. Knowledge orchestration across content types and delivery systems. AI-generated after-action review summaries that surface trends and decision-support insights for instructors.

Every handoff in that loop is a place where most training programs lose value today. Captured environments sit on a hard drive because no one builds a sim around them. Sims run without measurement because the analytics never get integrated. Performance data piles up because no one turns it into a lesson plan update.
The consortium closes those gaps by design. Each company built its tools to plug into the next stage. We’ve already done the integration work. You’re not paying for it on the clock.
Why a Consortium Instead of a Merger
The first question we get from buyers: “Why not just acquire each other and become one company that does it all?”
A few reasons.
Each of us has spent years going deep on one piece. Frontier’s metrology team isn’t trying to become a VR studio. We’re not trying to become an analytics platform. Cognitive3D isn’t trying to capture LiDAR scans. The depth is the value. Smashing it all into one company would dilute that fast and slow each team down.
The consortium model keeps each company focused on what it’s already best at. One prime contractor handles the bid and the contract. The buyer gets one point of accountability with 4 teams of specialists behind it.
